Brits will battle more rain over the coming days after temperatures dropped to 2C last night , the Met Office has said.

Forecasters revealed today that an area of cloud and rain will move south across England and Wales tonight after heavy rain and winds hit southeast Scotland and northern England.

The rain will mostly clear in the south by tomorrow which will also see some sunny spells and a scattering of showers.
