An Australian family escaped from a 4WD when it burst into flames at a popular tourist resort before it rolled down a road in a spectacular fireball - horrifying onlookers.
The family of five were driving to the Remarkables ski fields in Queenstown, New Zealand on Wednesday and were ascending a steep road when the vehicle cut out.
The group quickly got out before the car - with a full tank of diesel - exploded into flames, causing a huge plume of black smoke to billow into the air.
