Kristofer Thomas Kearney, 37, a British national based in Alicante, faces two charges of disseminating a terrorist publication. The prosecution allege the offences took place on two dates in January and March last year amid a 'significant social media presence and extreme right-wing mindset'. He appeared at the Old Bailey today via video link from HMP Chelmsford in a beige T-shirt and spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth. A timetable for the case was fixed with a trial at the Old Bailey before Judge Richard Marks KC from June 5 next year. A pre-trial hearing has been set for January 27 next year. Kearney, formerly from Petherick Road in Liverpool, was further remanded into custody. Prosecutor Lee Ingham said: 'It is a case involving two allegations of Section Two dissemination of terrorist publications on two dates in the context of a significant social media presence and an alleged extreme right wing terrorist mindset.' He was arrested in the Spanish city on 2 March under a Trade and Co-operation Agreement warrant. Mr Justice Sweeney said:'The soonest, quickest date available for a trial is trial by the Common Sergeant at this court on 5 June next year.'
