Child porn sicko Josh Duggar is seen behind bars for the first time, looking scruffy and unkempt, in a DailyMail.com picture exclusive.
Duggar, 34, has grown a thick beard and let his thinning hair grow out as he gets accustomed to his new life as inmate number 42501-509.
The disgraced reality star sips from a mug and mingles with prisoners in the photo taken inside the Federal Correctional Institute Seagoville, just outside of Dallas.
The picture comes as Duggar files an appeal against his conviction for possession and receipt of child porn at his used car lot in Arkansas.
The appeal, filed Monday, states that Feds failed to meaningfully investigate one of his employees, Caleb Williams – a 'convicted sex offender' according to Duggar, who he claims 'regularly used' his computer' and 'was extremely tech savvy.'

Duggar began serving his 151-month term in June at the Federal Correctional Institute Seagoville, just outside of Dallas, Texas
Duggar claims he was unfairly prevented from calling Williams as a witness to ask him about a text he allegedly sent him in May 2019 offering to 'watch the lot', right around the time the offenses took place.
Duggar's lawyers are also taking aim at the reliability of the GPS data the government used to place him at the office computer when the porn was viewed.
They say they were denied the chance to present their own expert testimony showing how the depraved films could have been watched by someone remotely accessing the HP.
Unless the appeal is successful, Duggar faces spending at least the next decade in prison after a federal jury found the 19 Kids and Counting alum guilty of possession and receipt of sickening child pornography last December.
He started serving his 151-month term in June.
The dad-of-seven used the desktop computer to trawl the dark web for hundreds of warped films and photos, the jury found.
One notorious movie named 'Daisy's Destruction' featured the abuse and torture of an infant. Another sequence of images depicted a girl being whipped with a cat o' nine tails, tied up and locked in a dog cage.
A former World War II detention camp, Seagoville is described by the Federal Bureau of Prisons as 'a low security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum security camp and detention center.'
Around 40 percent of the 1,800 inmates are sexual offenders including ex-Sesame Street composer Fernando Rivas, 70, who is serving 15 years for child porn offenses.

Another high-profile inmate is Chris Epps, the former Mississippi Corrections Commissioner, who was jailed for nearly 20 years in 2017 for taking $1.4million in bribes.
Duggar has to work behind bars, with jobs including cooking, plumbing and welding starting at a lowly 23 cents per hour.
But conditions inside the 830-acre facility are not exactly Spartan as prisoners have access to a lengthy commissary list boasting Coke, Gatorade, chocolate chip cookies, Snickers, chips and pork skins.
They can also buy Sony Walkmans, playing cards and supplement their orange-colored prison-issue uniform with baseball caps and Reebok Classic sneakers. Cell phones, however, are banned.
Duggar can receive visits from his wife Anna, 34, but he's not allowed any physical contact and he can't see his children without special permission.
He's also barred from accessing the internet under the punishment meted out by US District Court Judge Timothy Brooks, who told Duggar's May 25 sentencing: 'The images were some of the worst that this court has ever encountered.
'I can't get the dog kennel image out of my head. The description of Daisy's Destruction is horrific, it's sick.'
Duggar's trial heard how the once-clean cut Christian used the HP desktop in his office to access the dark web in May 2019 to search for warped movies such as Pedo Mom and Playtot Sweetie.
