A teen girl is fighting for life after she was thrown from the roof of a moving car with the driver allegedly leaving her injured on the road.
Two men, both aged 21, were charged late Tuesday over the incident with a third man, aged 20, also assisting police with their inquiries.
Police allege the girl, 17, was injured in the middle of Rugby World Cup celebrations in Melbourne on Monday night, which erupted after Samoa smashed France in its latest game.
The teen was one of four girls sitting on the roof of a red and white Mini Cooper as cars paraded along the Esplanade in Altona.
As the car rounded a corner at about 11.30pm, the girls were thrown from its roof with police alleging the driver continued on without stopping.
