Wednesday 2 November 2022 01:34 PM 'They are dead to me': Ex-wife of Sotheby's chairman Lord Dalmeny posts furious ... trends now
The ex-wife of Sotheby's chairman Lord Dalmeny has launched a blistering social media tirade after her new partner was snubbed for an invite to a party.
Furious Caroline Dalmeny, 53, took to Instagram to lash out at the unnamed hosts of the society event, after they failed to extend an invite to her boyfriend.
A former defence policy analyst who has mixed with the likes of Sophie Wessex, she was once married to Sotheby's chairman Harry Primrose - Lord Dalmeny.
She split with the aristocrat auctioneer in 2014 after two decades of marriage, and is now dating 54-year-old former Gurkha officer Jules Irens.
Lady Dalmeny said she had hoped Mr Irens would be able to accompany her to the upcoming society event.
But she said in her post that she was told 'priority was being given to married couples' due to the party being 'crowded'.
In an astonishing social media rant aimed at the organisers, who she did not name, she referred to them as 'vipers' and said: 'They are dead to me.'
