A 21-year-old man has been fatally stabbed and three others are on the run in the latest tragedy on the streets of Lawless London.

Emergency services were called to Bromley Road in Downham about 11.50pm on Friday after the man was set upon.

He was rushed to hospital for treatment but died this afternoon.

Police believe they know the identity of the victim and have informed his family, but are still awaiting formal identification.

Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen from the Met's Specialist Crime Command said her team have launched a murder investigation.

'We know there were several people in the Bromley Road area who either witnessed this incident or the events leading up to and after this incident,' she said.
