A two-year-old boy who died after being viciously attacked by two dogs at a country roadside motel has been identified as Jyedon Pollard.

The toddler was set upon by a Rottweiler and a cattle dog in front of his mum and two sisters at the Country Gardens Motor Inn in Cowra, in NSW's central-west, just after 10am on Tuesday.

It's understood motel staff own the two large dogs however they've both now been seized by council rangers. 

Jyedon's grieving mum Kesha had been living at the motel temporarily with her three children as they waited for a permanent home to move into.
