CCTV footage produced in court today showed a pair of abattoir workers entering and exiting a 'house of horrors', where they are accused of torturing and stabbing two victims to death, before mutilating their bodies and laying them out like 'butchered pigs'.

Ionut-Valentin Boboc, 22, and Jacob-Bebe Chers, 46, have gone on trial accused of the double murder of Denzil McKenzie and Fahad Hossain Pramanik.

The two victims were stabbed multiple times - with some injuries resembling the way they would have butchered animals at their place of work, the jury was told.

The partially chopped up and exposed remains of the victims were discovered in 56-year-old Mr McKenzie's home on Wood Street, laid out in a 'macabre display' in the living room, Bristol Crown Court heard.

The jury was shown CCTV footage of Boboc and Chers walking towards the address at around 8.15 pm on the night of the killings, and then leaving the same way after 11 pm

Now, newly emerged footage shows the moment they arrived at the home in Easton, Bristol and left three hours later, during which time the prosecution say they jointly carried out the killings.

The jury was shown CCTV footage of Boboc and Chers walking towards the address at around 8.15 pm on the night of the killings, and then leaving the same way after 11 pm.

Helen Bartlett, from the major crimes investigation team, said CCTV evidence first showed Chers park his Alfa Romeo car in a nearby street after filling up with petrol.

The pair were then shown walking together towards the house where the alleged double murder took place, exchanging 'items' as they approached it

She said: 'Chers appears to take something out or put something into his pocket.

'[He] appears to have a small object in his right hand. Both men stop for three seconds before walking up Wood Street to the scene.

'You see the defendants Boboc and Chers coming back into view and walking up the pavement in the direction of 20 Wood Street.'

The court was then shown CCTV footage taken at 11.11 pm, three hours later, where the men are seen exiting the address holding further 'items.'

Ms Bartlett added: 'Chers is walking away from 20 Wood Street, the scene, and towards the area where the Alfa Romeo appears to have been parked.

'Boboc follows in the same direction as Chers. He also appears to be carrying items.'

Prosecutors earlier alleged the men were carrying audio equipment and amplifiers among other valuables such as jewellery they had stolen while inside.

And the jury was later shown footage from the early hours of the morning of Boboc visiting a nearby clump of bushes, where prosecutors allege he discarded items.

Later CCTV, taken at around 8.30am the next day, revealed that Chers returned to the carwash where he worked to clean his vehicle and throw away clothing.
