The former commander-in-chief announced that he's running for president a third time during a lavish event at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday night.
He capped off the hour-long speech playing the 1966 hit 'Hold On I'm Comin,' sung by R&B duo Sam & Dave.
The song has become a favorite walk-out tune for Trump at his campaign-style rallies over the last year. But on Tuesday night, the family of Isaac Hayes took notice.
The celebrated American musical artist, who died in 2008, co-wrote the song with David Porter.
