A BMW driver has destroyed his $100,000 car after allegedly hitting speeds of more than 180km/h trying to flee police, before road spikes forced him to a crashing halt.
The West Australian driver allegedly clocked 183 km/h in a 110 km/h zone in his BMW 3 series on the Augusta Highway in Nelshaby, South Australia on Wednesday at 12.15am.
