US Rep. Lauren Boebert said she is tired of being blamed for the deadly Colorado gay club shooting as the left points to her anti-LGBTQ rhetoric.

The Colorado congresswoman blasted her critics in an interview with OAN, saying she has been long-accused of influencing mass shooters since taking office.

'I have been accused of just about every mass shooting there has been since the Left has learned of my name,' Boebert said. 'Whether it's Uvalde, or the King Soopers shooting in Boulder, Colorado, or the Buffalo, New York shooting.

'Or even Paul Pelosi getting hammered,' she added, referencing the home invasion attack that left the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's husband hospitalized. 'I have been blamed for all of that.'

Nancy Pelosi had prominently laid the blame on MAGA Republicans for the deadly Colorado shooting when Anderson Aldrich, 22, killed five and injured 19 during a drag show on the eve of Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Following the House Speaker's condemnation, US Reps Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Brianna Titone named Boebert directly for her comments against transgender individuals, and the local Denver Post published a scathing op-ed piece about her hateful remarks.

Boebert, however, scoffed at the criticisms, saying: ‘All of this, it has to come to an end, this blame game. I think the left is piss*d I won my election and so they’re trying to find something to go after me.’

Boebert, a vocal Trump advocate who won a tight re-election race, has been marred in controversy over her repeated criticisms of trans individuals and gender-affirming care.

The lawmaker had called the US Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine, a transgender woman, a 'groomer,' and referred to the health official by her former male name.

That is a practice referred to by transgender people as 'dead-naming,' which many consider offensive.

The LGBTQ community has faced a wave of threats and violence. In recently published research from the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University San Bernardino, researchers found that reports of hate crimes against LGBTQ people in major cities increased by 51 percent in 2021.

Slamming her fellow Colorado congresswoman following the shooting, Titone, the state's first openly transgender lawmaker, tweeted: 'Thanks for the "thoughts and prayers" but that does nothing to offset the damage that you directly did to incite these kinds of attacks on the LGBTQ+ community. You spreading tropes and insults contributed to the hatred for us.

'There's blood on your hands,' Titone wrote. 'Just resign.'

Following suit, Ocasio-Cortez wrote: @laurenboebert you have played a major role in elevating anti-LGBT+ hate rhetoric and anti-trans lies while spending your time in Congress blocking even the most common sense gun safety laws.

'You don’t get to “thoughts and prayers” your way out of this. Look inward and change.'

Boebert scoffed at the criticism and said the left was only upset about her narrow re-election victory for congress. She also said she would double down on her comments against transgender individuals, calling them 'groomers'
