Emergency services responded to reports of a man trapped by a forklift at the Tip Top bread factory at Muir Rd, Chullora in Sydney's west around 4am on Thursday morning. Police confirmed a 57-year-old had been seriously injured after he became trapped by a forklift and died at the scene. Tip Top provided a statement following the tragic death in which it said bread deliveries will be impacted the next two days. Emergency services responded to reports of a man trapped by a forklift at the Tip Top bread factory at Muir Rd, Chullora in Sydney 's west around 4am on Thursday morning 'An incident has occurred at our Chullora manufacturing site that has paused operations and will impact deliveries tomorrow and over the weekend. 'Friday 25th November – there will be no deliveries. 'Saturday 26th November – we have limited capacity and will therefore be unable to assist with any order adjustments to Saturday deliveries. 'If there are any further changes to your delivery schedule, additional communication will be provided. 'We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support during this time.' Police are conducting a forensic examination of the scene and its understood will prepare a report for the coroner. NSW SafeWork officers are also believed to be attending the scene.
