Shocking footage of a knife-wielding intruder threatening an elderly man in his own home has been shared online.
The CCTV footage, set up in the home after the couple were robbed, showed the man threatening the elderly owner as he sat inside his Marrara, Darwin home just before 9am on Thursday.
The couple's granddaughter said the attack had left her grandparents traumatised.
