Kate Kane, Anna Modler and Georgina Irwin were among the England WAGs struggling to stay awake during England's 0-0 match with the US, much like fans in the stadium and back home who sat through the dismal draw.

A turgid performance from a lackluster England side saw the Lions drop points in a game most expected them to win, against an energetic US team in Qatar.

The England players' partners and families shared their excitement ahead of the match on social media beforehand, but were left stifling yawns for 90 minutes as they watched the disappointing performance.

Aaron Ramsdale's fiancé Georgina Irwin, 26, dressed in the goalkeeper's yellow England shirt, couldn't help letting the tiredness get to her as she watched the dull affair from the stands.

Jordan Pickford's girlfriend friend Megan Davison, 26, also felt the time dragging by as she watched her partner have a quiet night - both teams managing hardly any shots on goal during the game.

Model Anna Modler, 24, tried to hide her tiredness as fiancé Eric Dier sat on the bench during the match as England struggled to make an impact. 

Fullback Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner, also saw little to get excited about as England ground their way to the end of the game. 

England captain Harry Kane, 29, looked down in the dumps after the Lions failed to score during the disappointing match at the Al Bayt Stadium​​ in Al Khor, Qatar.

The WAGs looked to reassure the downtrodden England players in the stands after the game, as Modler and Irwin could be seen consoling their partners. 

Harry Kane's wife Kate was pictured gazing lovingly at her husband and gave him a quick kiss as he entered the area reserved for friends and family after the game came to a close.

Three Lions fans' hearts were in their mouths in the 25th minute as Weston McKennie fluffed a chance for the US to go ahead in the half's best chance.

American fans goaded their rivals by repeatedly singing: 'It’s called soccer…it’s called soccer.’ 

The wives and girlfriends of Gareth Southgate's England squad all chose to wear their partner's football shirts in a sweet show of support.

Harry Maguire's new wife Fern Hawkins looked radiant in the red England top as she beamed at her husband from her seat.

Meanwhile, Jack Grealish's partner Sasha Attwood, Eric Dier's fiance Anna Modler and Conor Coady's wife Amie all donned the team's Qatar shirts for the all-important game.

Earlier today, Georgina Irwin, the fiancée of England goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, shared a selfie with her 16,400 Instagram followers this afternoon of herself proudly modelling the England team's shirt.

Posing in a bathroom mirror, the 26-year-old businesswoman - who co-founded activewear brand Gymnetix - paired her yellow Lions shirt with some blue ripped jeans and tied her brown hair up in a high ponytail.

She then went on to post a photo alongside Bukayo Saka's girlfriend Tolami Benson and Ben White's partner Milly Adams of them all modelling their partner's England shirts. 

Meanwhile, Amie Coady - who is married to Everton player Conor - gave fans a sneak peak into the family's match preparations at Doha Golf Cup.

Posing in front of some of the resort's palm trees, the mother-of-three proudly wore an England shirt with her husband's surname and number on the back.

Braving the 29 degree heat, the mother tucked her shirt into a pair of floaty beige trousers and white sandals.

What's more, Conor's eldest sons Henri and Freddie also got stuck into the celebrations too and were pictured matching England shirts.

The adorable brothers happily had their faces painted too - with 2022 written on their foreheads and the England flag and their dad's squad number on their cheeks.

What's more, Raheen Stirling's five-year-old son Thiago also had his dad's number painted on his face too.

Sharing a video of their son ready for the match, the player's fiancé Paige Milian picked iShowSpeed's song World Cup to play in the background of the short clip.

Manchester United star Harry Maguire's family also joined the celebrations at the gold club this evening.

The centre-back's sister Daisy posted a photo of her with her brother Joe, father Alan, mother Zoe and sister-in-law Fern - all dressed in England shirts - with her 48,000 Instagram followers.

Covering her younger relations' faces with a red heart emoji, Harry's family were pictured with a supersized statue of the FIFA World Cup award as they cheered on the Lions.

Harry Kane's wife Kate, 28, also got her and Harry's daughters Ivy, five, and Vivienne Jane, four, to pose with the World Cup statue too. 

Dressed in matching floating t-shirt dresses, the daughters of the England caption wore the same white trainers as their mother covered their faces with a flag emoji. 

Meanwhile, Eric Dier's fiancée Anna Modler showed her 111,000 followers how she'd been calming her nerves ahead of the match. 

Pictured in a black bandeau bikini and circular sunglasses, the 24-year-old model posed for a quick selfie while lapping up some sun in the 29 degree heat.

Earlier in the day, Amie Coady posted an adorable picture of their three sons on her Instagram Stories. 

Henri, Freddie and Louie were all smiles in their matching black-and-white striped outfits as they posed outside what looks like the £1bn cruiseliner  the families of the England team are currently calling home.

The couple's oldest son Henri appears to have inherited his dad's love of the sport and is already a member of a local junior team near the family's home in St Helens, Merseyside. 

The early show of support comes after the England team's loved ones were out in full force for their matching against Iran earlier this week. 

Following their game, the England squad rushed to celebrate with their loved ones in the stands.

Jack Grealish was pictured sharing a cuddle with his girlfriend Sasha Atwood to celebrate the win, while captain Harry was seen hugging his children after the match.

Katie Kane shared an adorable family photo, with Harry posing in the stands with his two of his three children after the match, while Sasha shared an image of her man to her Instagram stories with the caption: 'So proud of you xxx'. 

Raheem Sterling's fiancée Paige Milian, 27, was seen in Instagram snaps flicking a victory sign as she wore the new Three Lions jersey while standing with their son, Thiago, five, and his daughter from his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Melissa Clarke, Melody Rose, 10. 

Before kick-off, Saka's girlfriend Tolami Benson, 22, appeared in high spirits as she grabbed a seat alongside the player's brother, with both wearing matching England shirts to show their support to the team.

Meanwhile Phil Foden's partner Rebecca Cooke was snapped alongside Lauren Fryer, girlfriend of Declan Rice, as they took their place within the stadium.

Rebecca, who was photographed apparently discussing her seating in the stadium with an official, appeared overjoyed as she spotted Foden come out onto the pitch and threw her arms into the air with joy.

Before the match, Tolami 22, who is dating Saka, shared a snap online as she posed in an England shirt, while Kennedy Alexa, whose boyfriend is James Maddison, posted a photo of their son wearing a football kit.

WAGs and player's families have based themselves on the MSC World Europa, dubbed a 'floating palace', which is situated in Doha Port.

But while the WAGs will lap up the luxury of the swanky ship - complete with its very own shopping mall, roller disco rink and a range of clubs for children - it's said that players won't be allowed on board as they are set to form their own strict Covid bubble at the Souq Al Wakra hotel in Doha.

Elsewhere on the cruise liner, a Sportplex zone offers basketball, bumper cars and even a roller disco rink, meaning plenty of opportunities for fun, alongside more than 30 bars and cafes, as well as a micro-brewery and mixology classes in its Elixir gin bar.

England is set for their second match of the World Cup tonight against the USA.

And as they take to the pitch in Qatar for the first of their Group B games, Gareth Southgate's team will be supported by a glamorous array of wives and girlfriends.

The squad, for instance, will be cheered on by Jack Grealish's girlfriend Sasha Attwood as well as Harry Maguire's wife Fern Hawkins, and Harry Kane's wife Katie Goodland.

Southgate has not declared whether he will allow the WAGs to meet his team at the Souq Al Wakra hotel in Doha where he will stay with his 26-man squad.

Megan Davison met Everton ace Jordan Pickford when they were teenagers. The childhood sweethearts have been dating since she was 14 and he was 16 after meeting at school and share a son, Arlo.

The pair went out on their first date to the cinema while he was a pupil at St Robert of Newminster Catholic School in their native Washington, Tyne and Wear.

Megan, now 26, graduated from university in 2019. She had son, Arlo, in February that year, and the couple were married in March 2020 at a register office in Crewe, having had to postpone their lavish Maldives nuptials due to the pandemic.

The ceremony was distinctly understated, with Pickford wearing a baseball cap and ripped jeans, while the bride wore Givenchy studded boots and carried a Dior handbag.

An Instagram star with platinum hair and a love of shopping, Megan has assumed a 'mother hen' status with the other wives.  Ahead of the opening game of the Euros against Croatia, she arranged a pre-match party for them (pictures from which she shared on Instagram.)

She sparked controversy in December last year after sharing a message in support of anti-vax protestors. Megan shared a photo from the so-called Freedom March that sparked chaotic scenes across central London on December 18.

The demonstration, declared a 'major incident' by London mayor Sadiq Khan, was attended by thousands of anti-vaxxers after further restrictions were put in place to slow the spread of new coronavirus variant Omicron.

Davison appeared to show a degree of empathy for the mob by sharing a photo of one protestor holding a placard emblazoned with the message: 'Even if you're not conspiracy minded, something in your soul has to say…something is wrong.'

The photo was posted without additional comment from the mother-of-one, and is no longer present on her Instagram account.
