Singer Mariah Carey has been called out by fans after a viral video shows her using a teleprompter to remember the lyrics to her hit song All I Want for Christmas.
The 52-year-old songstress made her return to the 96th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, closing out the show with her hit Christmas song.
She pulled off an elaborate festive performance surrounded by dancers in matching marching attire and her twins Moroccan and Monroe, 11 - which officially rang in the holiday season in New York and across the US.
But a TikToker, Sydney Barinas (Mohr), who was at the parade, noticed that a giant screen — out of view from the cameras, but directly in Carey's line of sight — displayed the lyrics as Carey sang and decided to post the spectacle online Friday.
'Yes, Mariah Carey is using a teleprompter for lyrics of her most famous song at Macy's Thanksgiving Parade,' she captioned the video, which has since been viewed more than 5.6 million times.
The video came just one day after the singer — who has dubbed herself the Queen of Christmas — was accused of lip syncing to the Christmas jaunt.

Fans online were quick to point out that Carey's flawless vocals sounded extremely similar to the recorded version of the 1994 track.
One fan wrote: 'Mariah Carey lip syncing always SENDS me cuz it’s so blatant. Like she doesn’t even try to hide it.'
