A boozed-up police inspector who sexually assaulted two colleagues at a Christmas party in Yarm has resigned from the force.
Lee Morgan tapped and grabbed the bottoms of two Cleveland Police co-workers on a night out last December.
The 45-year-old, who was a temporary police inspector (T/PI) in the force control room, resigned last Monday ahead of misconduct proceedings this week.
Teesside Magistrates' Court heard last month how the 'root cause of the problem is alcohol' but Morgan is now receiving counselling.
