In a video filmed at Cranbourne Golf Club in Melbourne's south east, the men unleashed a volley of verbal abuse at each other, repeatedly using the F-word and C-word to make their point. It is not clear what exactly started the altercation, but it very quickly escalated from bad language to one of them men forcing his forehead against the other man's. 'I don't like spectators so why are there people watching? Why are they on the golf course?' the older man could be heard saying. The man in the red shirt took great offence at the comment, walking up to the first man and telling him to leave the course before 'I knock you the f*** out c***'. A war of words involving three men spilled out on a Melbourne golf course (pictured) over the weekend The video, which has been viewed several thousand times, showed the situation then descending into tit for tat name calling. 'Come on c***, I'll f***ing smash you. You're a f***ing idiot,' the red shirted man said. 'Go away you d**khead,' the older man roared back. 'I'll f***ing knock you out,' the red shirt man replied, putting his forehead right up to the other man. The first man responded with his own offer - legal action. 'Threaten me with violence? Take the first shot and I will have you sued for assault,' he shouted. A third man, who it later emerged was a 'captain' at the club, then joined the fray, asking the older player 'What's going on?' The older man said the situation was 'bulls**t' and that the club championship was going on. The older man started to walk away, but then the man in the red shirt shouted out asking why he was 'hitting up on us, you dumb c***'. 'I am not hitting up on you,' the older man replied. There was a lot of foul, vile, threatening language used in the altercation captured on a phone camera 'Well you f***ing are when we are there you stupid c***. You are a f***ing idiot. 'You shouldn't be yelling at people on a f***ing golf course, you dumb c***.' The 'captain' then told the older man that 'if I feel there is a need to address something then I will do that'. The older man shouted at him that 'I respect you as a captain, but that was a bad decision'. As the others walk away, he roared after them that 'I don't come to this golf club to be physically threatened'. At times it looked as if the war of words, which got very heated, might spill over into actual violence 'What a d**khead you are. You're a big f***ing d**khead.' He then shouted that 'I'm 61-years-old. Come on you f***er.' After an inaudible response from the captain, the older man shouted again: 'F*** that, captain. Control your f***ing players. 'F***ing threaten me? How dare you. How dare you,' he said. Daily Mail Australia has contacted Cranbourne Golf Club seeking comment.
