The innocent motorcyclist who was horrifyingly struck by a flying truck while waiting at a traffic light in Malibu, California is raising money for medical expenses after suffering 'severe' injuries during the fatal crash.

Stephen Levey launched a GoFundMe page Monday to help pay for his bills after he was nearly killed when a stolen car slammed into a pick-up truck and flipped on top of him.

Levey, an avid motorcyclist according to his social media pages, shockingly captured the incident, which he described as 'near death,' on video.

Now, the motorcyclist is asking the public for help to cover the cost of his 'severe' injuries which include 'a shattered right arm' and '9 broken ribs, an extremely damaged right foot, a collapsed lung and a wide variety of other issues along with a lifetime of trauma,' the man wrote in the GoFundMe's description.

According to Levey, the stolen black Lexus was driving 'at least double the speed limit' just before the crash.

He was then airlifted to the nearest trauma hospital where doctors reportedly said 'it was apparently very much in doubt' if the motorcyclist was going to live or die.

'Remarkably I beat those odds,' Levey wrote in the fundraiser's description.

While he did survive, the motorcyclist said he now faces 'years and years' of physical, occupational, and mental therapy as a result of the crash.

The therapy will hopefully 'attempt to try to recover as much use' from his shattered arm, hand, and foot as possible.

'I would just like to say thank you in advance for your generosity, especially in these extremely lean times, it’s hugely
