Dramatic body-cam footage shows two brave police officers rushing into a burning building to rescue a woman and her children as a fire tore through a block of flats.
PC Elliot Godden and PC Vishal Dave had been at their police station when they heard on their radios a fire had been reported at a building nearby on November 16.
The pair raced outside after they heard glass shattering at around 4.40pm and saw bright orange flames coming from the flats in Lower Hill Street, Leicester.
Footage captured the moment the heroic officers searched through the city centre flats as the flames took hold and the building filled with smoke.
PC Dave said: 'I was at the station getting ready to go home when I heard it on the radio.
