The Liberal leader handed Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles a bottle of Bondi Sands tanning lotion on Friday morning as the pair exchanged gifts live on the Today show. 'Richard comes from Geelong which is a great part of the world but it's not the sunniest part of the world, but somehow Richard maintains a perfect tan year round,' Mr Dutton said from Parliament House. 'So... I've got him next year's supply of tanning spray. The Liberal leader handed deputy prime minister Richard Marles a bottle of fake tanning lotion during a Today show segment on Friday morning Departing Today co-host Ally Langdon cracked up at the political rivals' bizarre gift exchange and paid tribute to the 'weird but sweet friendship' between Mr Dutton and Mr Marles 'I don't quite understand it but my office was able to source it. I think you know more about this than me.' Mr Marles replied that Mr Dutton was 'a bad man' and gave the opposition leader his own gift with a not so subtle meaning behind it.
