President Joe Biden's Department of Energy is refusing to say if the non-binary drag queen who had been working in a nuclear waste job is still being paid after they were put on leave.
Sam Brinton, 34, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition, admitted to a Minnesota cop in October that they had taken a suitcase that didn't belong to them from an airport baggage carousel.
The contents of the Vera Bradley suitcase were worth more than $2,300. If found guilty of felony theft, Brinton could face five years in prison or a $10,000 fine, or both.
