The identity of a man mauled to death in a savage dog attack has been confirmed as 42-year-old Energex meter reader Kane Minion.
Emergency services rushed to a home on Ison Road at Greenbank, Queensland, just after 10.45am Saturday, where Mr Minion was found unconscious in the front yard of the property with critical injuries.
Mr Minion, who had spent seven years working for Downer's Skilltech and was working as a contractor for Energex at the time, was found in a critical condition by police.
He died at the scene as a result of his injuries, despite the best
