Lara Trump has been forced out of Fox News after the network introduced a ban on employing people running for office or who are directly connected to active campaigns.
After her father-in-law Donald Trump's announced his 2024 bid for the White House last month, it now rules her out from continuing to receiving a paycheck from the Republican-leaning news channel.
'We appreciate Lara's valuable contributions across Fox News Media programming,' a Fox News Media representative said in a statement.
Lara became a paid contributor for the network last year.
Although her departure from the network is on good terms and based on the channel's protocol, former White House officials are have normally been welcomed to appear contributors on cable networks.
Lara Trump has been forced to part ways as an official contributor to Fox News which has a policy that prohibits people from being contributors when they announce a campaign for public office
