A Connecticut man accused of murdering and dismembering his 11-month-old daughter was finally arrested after spending two weeks on the run. 

Christopher Francisquini, 31, was apprehended at a Waterbury bus stop on Friday afternoon after a citizen recognized him from news coverage and called authorities.

Francisquini is accused of killing his infant daughter, Camilla, on November 18 in his home in Naugatuck.

He was charged with murder with special circumstances and risk of injury to a minor, and slapped with $5million bond.

Francisquini has a long rap sheet, with convictions for assault, carjacking, and other crimes to his name. He was on parole for a 2012 assault charge when he allegedly murdered his daughter, and cut off his GPS ankle bracelet before fleeing, according to the New York Daily
