Jazz legend killed: Car stuck on rail crossing hit by TWO trains trends now

A legendary jazz musician died after his car got stuck on a rail crossing, and was hit by two high-speed trains within minutes of each other.

Andrew Speight, 58, had driven his black vehicle onto the tracks near Caltrain Broadway Station in Burlingame, shortly before 1.40pm on Thursday, and could not move the car.

He was hit by a southbound train and then a northbound train on the twin tracks within minutes. Horrific footage shows the aftermath of the crushed car on the tracks, with Speight being the fourth person in a week to die at a Caltrain Station.

His car was completely crumpled on the tracks, with officials confirming Speight died after the initial collision.

Locals have said the lights at the crossing are 'dangerous' because they don't always work. Officials investigating the fatal incident said the lights were working at the time Speight crossed onto the tracks.
