The boyfriend of slain University of Idaho student Madison Mogen, broke his silence on Friday, weeks after the four victims were brutally murdered in a quadruple homicide that remains unsolved.

Jake Schriger, who knew all four victims, spoke out at a vigil on Friday that was held in Post Falls, the hometown of one of the other victims, 20-year-old Xana Kernodle.

Schriger's girlfriend Madison Mogen, 21, her close friend Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Kernodle's boyfriend Ethan Chapin, 20, were all stabbed to death in the off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho on November 13.

'None of these people deserved this,' Schriger said. He also talked about his friendship with Mogen developed into love and they had their first date at The Breakfast Club in Moscow.

'She was the first person I talked to every morning and the last person I talked to before bed,' Schriger said at the vigil at the Real Life Ministries. 'She was the person that I loved most.'

Three weeks after the grizzly murders, few answers have come out and authorities have yet to name a suspect or even a person of interest in the case.

In a previous interview with the New York Post, Schriger's mother Stacy said she had been expecting Maddie to travel home with him for Thanksgiving.

'Her and Jake were like peanut butter and jelly. We were expecting her for Thanksgiving. Whenever we talked on the phone, she always said I love you,' she said.

Parents of the other victims were also at the vigil, including Steven and Kristi Goncalves, Kaylee's parents, who have been vocal about their frustrations with the police department involving the investigation.

Kaylee, Madison, their roommate Xana Kernodle, 20, and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, 20, were stabbed to death on November 13, likely while they were sleeping. Kaylee and Madison were sleeping on the third floor, and Xana and Ethan were on the second floor. Cops said the killer entered the house through a sliding glass door on the second floor, which was level with the backyard.

Two other roommates were in the house but were unharmed and unaware the attack occurred. They were sleeping on the first floor.

Kaylee's father previously told NewsNation's Brian Entin that Kaylee's injuries were worse than the other kids', but he didn't go into detail.

He fumed over the weekend that detectives are allowing the case to go 'cold' and that while they may not appreciate his continued interaction with the media, it's necessary to find his daughter's killer.

'I'll cut to the chase – their means of death don't match,' Kaylee's father, Steven Goncalves, told Lawrence Jones Cross Country on Saturday. He has said that Kaylee and Mogen were sleeping in the same bed when the attack occurred.

'Their points of damage don't match,' he added. 'I'm just going to say it. It wasn't leaked to me. I earned that. I paid for that funeral. … I sent my daughter to college. She came back in a box, and I can speak on that.'

Last week, Kaylee's mother, Kristi Goncalves, told News Nation that
