DailyMail.com spotted the reclusive actress, 73, with her small pup at a park in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The 1980s TV icon, who keeps a very low profile these days, stepped out near her home dressed down in sweatpants, sneakers, and kept her hands tucked in the pockets of her brown wool coat.
Kirstie, 71, came onto the Cheers scene to replace Shelley as leading lady at the start of season six, playing tough business woman Rebecca Howe.
The late actress earned an Emmy Award and Golden Globe for her role in 1991.

Kirstie told PEOPLE in an interview that when she arrived on set to take over for Shelley, who played intellectual barmaid Diane Chambers, she dressed just like her.
'I wanted to break the ice and get off to a fresh start,' Kirstie said.
She arrived on her first day in a blond wig and a 'goody-two-shoes' dress to the amusement of her new co-stars.
Alley had a successful career before and after Cheers, making her film debut in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and starring alongside John Travolta
