A wheelchair-bound passenger claims he was booted off a Qatar Airways flight and left stranded in the middle of no-where because of his disability.

Craig Nolan, 43, was boarding a flight in Melbourne to head back to his home in Finland on Monday, when he alleges airline staff told him he wasn't allowed to travel on his own.

Mr Nolan, who lives with spina bifida, said he was frustrated with the airline barring him from going home to his partner in Helsinki.

'It was absolutely discrimination because there is no justified reason [for the airline] throwing me off the flight,' he told Nine News.
