A teenager has been charged with murder after he allegedly threw a concrete block at a 30-year-old pregnant mother in Perth.
Diane Miller, 30, died after the unprovoked attack outside the Waterford Plaza in Karawara, Perth on November 9.
The 17-year-old boy was initially charged with grievous bodily harm but that charge was today upgraded following her death.
The young man, from Kensington, will face the single murder charge in Perth Children's Court on Friday.
Ms Miller, who has an eight-month-old son, was a passenger in the car being driven by her partner when he became caught in an altercation between two groups of youths in the shopping centre carpark.
During the scuffle, a 17-year-old boy, allegedly threw a concrete block through the car window.
The brick struck Ms Miller in the temple, knocking her out and immediately sending her into cardiac arrest.
