Ivanka Trump and Jared Kusher's $19m Surfside rental for sale as couple prepare ... trends now

The luxury Florida condo Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have been renting since leaving DC is due to hit the market for nearly $19million.

The waterfront condo, located just north of Miami Beach in Surfside, is expected to be listed next year for $18.8 million.

Trump and Kushner are leaving the condo behind to finally move into a sprawling mansion in the nearby Indian Creek community - which has been called the 'billionaire bunker' - that they picked up last year for $24million and have been extensively renovating ever since.

The 7,000 square-foot condo is spread over three floors with wrap-around terraces, and even has a private pool and yard.

The condo is located in the Arte, a luxury building which is one of the most expensive in the ritzy neighborhood. The building has only 16 unites - each of which has private elevator access - a tennis court on the roof, and offers a gym, concierge services, and security.

The Arte's penthouse sold for $33million in 2020.

News of the sale comes just weeks after Ivanka announced that she was done with politics, and that she will be prioritizing her private life instead of joining her father's upcoming presidential campaign. 

'I love my father very much. This time around, I'm choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,' she said. 'While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.'  

Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, 41, who both served as advisors to Donald Trump during his presidency, moved to Florida after they left their posts at the White House in early 2021, and they quickly began laying down new roots.

It is unclear exactly when the family will move into their new Indian Creek home - a spatial 8,500-square-foot abode - but news of the condo sale suggests it might be soon.
