Fascinating photos show JFK the day before he was assassinated trends now
Rare photographs of JFK visiting Texas the day before his assassination have gone up for sale at auction.
The colorful pictures were taken on November 21, 1963, in Houston, where President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie spent the day on a tour.
With the exception of Jackie Kennedy's white dress, the photos look eerily similar to the infamous images beamed around the world 24 hours later in the wake of JFK being shot.
'The birthday photos have never been seen before,' said a spokesman for the auctioneers. 'They show JFK celebrating his birthday with his celebrity friends. They fondly recall the Camelot era that captivated the world.'

The president is wearing a similar dark grey suit and is seen with his head turned to his right waving at crowds of people while his Secret Service bodyguards ride on a limousine behind.
Other photos show the couple smiling as they meet and great local well-wishers and of JFK giving a speech stood as a rostrum.
The vice president, Lyndon B. Johnson, can be seen in some of the snaps. He was riding in the car behind the president's at the time of the assassination.
