A Popeye's in Detroit has been temporarily shut down after a DoorDash driver filmed  dozens of cockroaches crawling all over food orders waiting to be sent out for delivery.

The woman caught the grotesque scene, which showed the critters on the counter, utensils, and bags, on camera while waiting to pick up her take out orders at the Popeye located in the east side neighborhood.

'They got roaches y'all. Running all over the straws,' the woman said, who did not want to be identified.

She said she has never come across anything like it in her two years delivering food.  

'I was definitely surprised. I was caught off guard. I was shocked. I was disgusted. I just couldn't believe that they were even open and working in those conditions,' she told Fox8 Live.
