A teenager who Elon Musk threatened to sue after suspending him from Twitter for posting real-time locations of his private jet labeled it a mere 'bluff.'

Jack Sweeney, 19, who has been posting the location of Musk's jet since 2020 under the handle @ElonJet, scoffed at the tech mogul's threat when he tweeted: 'Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family.'

Sweeney, who says he only posts information that is already publicly available, told the New York Post: 'I do think it's a bluff. We'll have to see if I get an official notice.'

The Florida teen's statement comes after he branded Musk a 'full-on hypocrite' when he was booted from Twitter despite the Chief Twit's previous vow that he would not ban Sweeney's account.

Sweeney has previously said that he started @ElonJet in because he was a fan of Musk and wanted to see how he managed his businesses.

The teen has been tracking Musk's private Gulfstream jet by obtaining public Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) data.

Despite being booted from Twitter, which he predicted might happen, he continues to relay the tracking information on Instagram, Telegram and Discord.

Sweeney also dismissed the notion that Musk could blame him for an incident that occurred on Tuesday night when his two-year-old son X Æ A-Xii, known as X, was followed by a balaclava-clad stalker driving in Los Angeles.

'That's a car, not a plane,' Sweeney told the Post. 'And that supposed incident would have been 24 hours after the last tweet from my account, which is a big time difference.

'That's trying to link something that's just crazy,' he said.
