Husband and wife happily enjoy Christmas dinner... three days before she was ... trends now
Sitting at the Christmas dinner table with other members of their family, Teresa and Paul Hanson looked the picture of happiness.
But three days after what their daughter described as the 'the best day', Mr Hanson, 54, was found dying from a stab wound by police. His wife was later charged with his murder.
Teresa Hanson marked her 54th birthday behind bars yesterday after being remanded in custody. The grandmother appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with murdering her husband at their home in West Cowick, a village near Snaith, East Yorkshire.
She spoke only to confirm her name and date of birth – January 1, 1969. Wearing a grey tracksuit she addressed the court in a near whisper as family members sobbed from the public gallery.
