Annastacia Palaszczuk will take a three-week overseas holiday - her first since becoming Queensland premier - a day after the Sea World helicopter crash.
The premier made the surprise announcement on Tuesday, and explained her need to take a good long break on social media.
'After a very busy two years for Queensland, I'm taking some personal leave until 23 Jan to spend time with family,' the post read.
