SUV slams into Manhattan sports bar after being rear-ended by hit-and-run driver trends now
An SUV working as an Uber crashed through the front of restaurant in Manhattan on Monday night, leaving 22 people injured and cops searching for a driver who caused the smash.
The incident occurred at about 9pm and Inwood Bar & Grill's storefront was shattered, with debris sent spraying across the sidewalk and into the restaurant at unsuspecting diners.
Among the victims were three young girls aged 10, seven, and one - the eldest of whom may have suffered a broken leg.
Multiple witnesses saw the crash - which cops said occurred when a white Audi sedan struck the black Toyota RAV4 – causing the SUV to jump the curb and careen into the store near West 204th Street.

Cops said that the Audi then fled the scene, leaving several patrons writhing on the ground in pain. The driver, still at-large, is being sought by police.
Footage from the scene shows the scary aftermath of the incident, which police Tuesday said may have spilled over from an earlier dispute at a nearby gas station.
The shocking clips, posted to social media, show both inside and outside the restaurant, where injured people laid on the ground as emergency responders surveyed the scene.
Of the almost two dozen victims, cops said that three were children, and that all the injuries had stemmed from debris and glass sent flying by the Toyota.
The SUV, which was operating as an Uber, remained at the scene as investigators and officials tended to the wounded. The driver was not immediately identified.

It was unclear Tuesday whether all of the victims had been dining at the restaurant’s outdoor area when almost struck, with footage showing the majority of victims
