Visitors were evacuated from an Alton Towers conference centre today over a 'chemical leak alert' after an 'unusual smell' was reported.
Emergency services rushed to the theme park in Staffordshire after the incident was detected in the employee-only kitchen.
According to The Sun, it is understood that two people had to be assessed by ambulance crews after the guests were evacuated from the conference centre at around 12:45am.
A fire service spokesman said: 'We were called to the Alton Towers Resort following reports of a suspected chemical-related incident within an employee-only kitchen area.
