Kate Garraway ridiculed Prince Harry's pettiness this morning as she expressed disbelief he used his memoir to grind axes over the size of his childhood bedroom.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, signaled surprise the Duke had grumbled about his quarters in Balmoral Castle, given the current cost of living crisis.

Kate - who has won two NTA awards - sounded exasperated as she pointed out people were worried about surviving on their wages while Harry complained about his stately home bed chambers.

And co-host Ben Shepherd appeared utterly bemused as he pointed out Harry's gripe about older brother getting the biggest room happened in families across the world.

GMB was speaking about the details in the book this morning when the exchange occurred.

ITV royal editor Chris Ship said: 'Talking in the book, as we now know he did, about William in Balmoral had the bigger bedroom and the double bed and he had the wardrobe with the mirrors and I had the shady corner if you like.'
