Police say the body of a woman found 'tightly wrapped' by cleaners in an apartment building garage was buried underneath clothes and rubbish for at least seven years.
Detectives are appealing for information about the remains which were found at an Alderley Road unit complex, north of Brisbane on December 7, 2022.
Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham, Regional Crime Coordinator for Brisbane said the woman's identity and how she died was still under investigation.
'This is an extremely complex investigation – to try and trace the movements of an as yet unidentified woman from at least seven years ago, is extraordinarily challenging,' Det Supt Massingham said.
