The grieving mum of a teen allegedly bashed to death on his way home from school has been dealt another crushing blow as she continues to mourn his tragic death.
It's been three months since Cassius Turvey, a 15-year-old Noongar Yamatji boy, was allegedly attacked with a metal pole just minutes after he got off a school bus in Perth on October 13.
The Indigenous teen suffered severe head injuries and died in hospital 10 days later surrounded by his distraught family.
His tragic death sparked outrage and grief across the nation at dozens of vigils as community leaders rallied behind the family and led calls for justice.
Heartbroken relatives have since revealed Cassius' beloved bike was recently stolen from his mum Mechelle's home in Perth's east as they issued a desperate plea for its return.
