New Jersey surgeon father sues daughter's wedding photographer who left him ... trends now
A New Jersey surgeon has launched a legal bid against his daughter's wedding photographer, who left him $76k out of pocket.
Dr Amit Patel, 59, paid Clane Gessel and his studio up front for him to photograph his daughter's wedding in Turkey in May 2022.

Court documents state that Gessel had previously agreed to stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Bodrum Isil Club Resort with his staff.
But on May 21, he demanded that they be accommodated at the Mandarin Hotel Bodrum – a five-star hotel – at the expense of Patel.

Gessel then advised that he would need an email or a contract to sign before he and his team got on the plan.
Patel refused to agree to the demands and found a replacement photographer to take photos and videos of his daughter's wedding – which was featured by Vogue.
In court documents, Patel calls Gessel's failure to photograph the event a 'blatant anticipatory breach of the Service Agreement.'
The lawsuit was lodged in December, seven months after the wedding, as Gessel refused to pay back the
