Nathan Chasing Horse's daughter, the model Quannah Rose Chasinghorse, shared her support of one of his sexual abuse accusers in September last year, six months before his arrest.
Quannah, 20, is an IMG model and activist. While Nathan, 46, is her biological father, she says he did not have an active role in her upbringing.
Nathan, who found fame in Dances With Wolves with Kevin Costner, is now facing charges of sexual trafficking and child sex abuse. He was arrested in Las Vegas last night on suspicion of luring young women into a cult he called The Circle.
Now, many Native Americans are speaking out to ask why his arrest took so long, when the abuse he is accused of was an open secret in their communities.
In September last year, one of his accusers - Corena Leone - went public on TikTok with her claims.

Quannah offered her support in the comments section, writing: 'Sending you all the love, healing and justice. You deserve so much better.'
Corena replied: 'Thank you so much. Your support means a lot. I just want you to know I know you had nothing to do with his behavior.
'And you are not your father. I support you and what you're doing for our women and communities 100%.'
Quannah replied: 'Thank you. Never hesitate to reach out for anything. You always have my support.'
Quannah's representatives did not immediately respond to inquiries regarding her father's arrest.
