Kenosha riot killer Kyle Rittenhouse will face a wrongful death lawsuit from the father of one of the men he shot dead, a judge has ruled.

The case was brought by John Huber, the father of rioter Anthony Huber who was fatally shot by Rittenhouse during the 2020 BLM protests in Wisconsin.

A federal judge shot down requests from Rittenhouse's lawyers to dismiss the suit on Wednesday, which also names law enforcement personnel and officials as defendants.

The lawsuit, which was originally filed in 2021, claims that Rittenhouse, who was just 17-years-old at the time, conspired with police to target protestors who took to the streets following the shooting of Jacob Blake in August 2020

John Huber's lawsuit also alleges that officers violated his son's constitutional rights when they allowed the riots to erupt into violence, resulting in his death.

Rittenhouse was cleared on all counts following the 2020 shooting following a murder trial that gained international attention.

He was charged with first-degree intentional homicide and other counts for killing Huber, as well as Joseph Rosenbaum while also wounding Gaige Grosskreutz.

He was found not-guilty on all five counts he faced at the trial after four days of deliberation.

Lawyers for the 18-year-old managed to successfully convince the jury that their client acted in self-defense when he fatally shot two men during a protest against police brutality in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Following the not-guilty verdict, President Biden came under fire after he said he was 'angry and concerned' by the result.
