A bar worker has been fired after dramatic CCTV of a pregnant woman giving birth at the popular venue was filmed and shared online.
Footage of the woman dropping her pants moments before a baby pops out at the Raintrees Tavern in Cairns in far north Queensland went viral on social media on Thursday.
A security guard is seen picking up the newborn from the floor and cradling the infant.
While the popular venue declined to comment, its parent company ALH Hotels has condemned the sharing of the footage as unacceptable.
The employee who filmed and published the footage on social media had their employment terminated on Thursday, a week after the incident.
