Priscilla Presley has urged fans to 'ignore the noise' amid a dispute over her daughter Lisa Marie's will - insisting that the situation will be resolved amicably within the family.

Priscilla, 77, on Friday night denied rumors of family rift, after one of the managing partners of Elvis Presley Enterprises said Lisa Marie was adamant she wanted to write her mother out.

'I loved Elvis very much as he loved me. Lisa is a result of our love,' said Priscilla, in a statement to Page Six.

'For anyone to think anything differently would be a travesty of the family legacy and would be disrespectful of what Elvis left behind in his life.'

Lisa Marie died aged 54 on January 12, following a cardiac arrest at her Calabasas home.

Following her death it emerged that in 2016 she had changed the terms of her will, removing her mother and instead making her daughter Riley and son Benjamin her sole heirs. Benjamin died by suicide in July 2020, aged 27.

It is unclear how much money Lisa Marie left - some reports said she was $16 million in debt, while she herself said last year she earned $104,000 a month from Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Joel Weinshanker, a managing partner at Elvis Presley Enterprises, said on Wednesday - on what would have been Lisa Marie's 55th birthday - that she was clear in her wishes in 2016.

Priscilla, however, accused an unnamed individual of unwelcome intrusion.

'There is an individual that bought their way into the family enterprise that is trying to speak on behalf of our family,' she said.

'This person is not a representative of Elvis or our family.'

She asked that the public allow her and her relatives 'the time' they need 'to work together and sort this out.'

Priscilla concluded that she intended to find 'a pathway forward with respect, honesty, dignity, integrity and love.'

Priscilla last month filed legal documents to try and set aside the 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's 2010 trust.

Lisa Marie in 2016 removed her mother, and her own former business manager Barry Siegel, as trustees.

She replaced them with Riley and the late Ben Keough.

Priscilla questioned the validity and authenticity of the amendment, claiming it was never delivered to her; saying the date on the document is suspicious; pointing out the document misspells Priscilla's name; and saying Lisa Marie's signature 'appears inconsistent with her usual and customary signature.'

But, speaking on told SiriusXM's Elvis Radio, Weinshanker said: 'It was always Riley and Ben.

'There was never a question in her mind that they would be the stewards, that they would look at it exactly the way she did.

'Obviously, when Ben passed, it really sat with Riley.'

Weinshanker said that Riley was aware that she would be running the trust.

'Although Riley is a movie star, she's an award-winning director, she had always had an interest and had always known that one day, she would be in charge,' he said.

Weinshanker said he was speaking out because 'sometimes you just got to take a stand.'

'When Elvis passed away, he left everything to his little girl,' he said.

'He did so knowing that she would be the one to keep his legacy going.

'I can tell you that she has, without falter, no matter what else was happening in her life, in her career, always been the one to look at what was best for Elvis.'

Weinshanker said Lisa Marie cared for the trust 'regardless of what somebody else was trying to do, regardless of what another family member [was trying to] do.'

Lisa Marie came into a $100 million inheritance on January 29, 1993, at the age of 25.

Barry Siegel began managing Lisa Marie's finances in 2003, and in 2005 sold off 85 per cent of her share in Elvis Presley Enterprises, which saw her lose control of her father's name and image rights. He insisted it was necessary to pay off her debts

The trust was amended and completely restated on January 27, 2010, putting her mother and Siegel as trustees.

'Lisa Marie Presley appointed her mother, Petitioner, and her former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-Trustees effective as of the date of the 2010 restatement,' the court filing states.

'The 2010 restatement further provides that Petitioner and Barry Siegel shall continue to serve as co-Trustees upon Lisa
