Salim Mehajer's ex alleges she was choked as domestic violence charges made ... trends now
Disgraced ex-deputy mayor Salim Mehajer will remain behind bars after his bail was revoked as he faces domestic violence charges.
The controversial property developer, 36, was granted bail two weeks ago and was likely to be released from jail for the first time in almost three years.
But his former girlfriend Melissa Tysoe has accused Mehajer of choking her to the point of unconsciousness prompting fresh charges to be brought against him.

Justice Natalie Adams overturned the bail to Mehajer explaining her reasoning at the NSW Supreme Court this week.
She said the former mayor has a criminal record, has previously breached bail and court orders and was deemed a risk of contacting Ms Tysoe.
Mehajer is serving two years and three months for lying to court, having previously been jailed for electoral fraud.
His legal team argued Ms Tysoe only made the allegations after discovering a photo on his phone showing Mehajer 'with someone else'.
'The relationship soured when he went into custody and there was a suggestion he had been cheating,' barrister Tom Hughes said.
The court heard Ms Tysoe saw a doctor about an alleged incident where she claimed
