Chilling 911 dispatch describes how 'overmedicated' midwife mom Lindsay Clancy ... trends now

Chilling audio of the 911 dispatch call made after Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy strangled her three children then attempted to kill herself has been made public. 

The audio reveals her extensive injuries, including cuts on her wrists and lacerations, which she is believed to have inflicted on herself before jumping from a window of her home. 

Lindsay, 32, was suffering severe postpartum depression and had been prescribed an 'over the top' cocktail of pills that her forgiving husband believes are to blame for the tragedy. 

She survived the suicide attempt and remains in custody under doctors' care awaiting trial on murder charges for the deaths of her children Cora, five, Dawson, three, and baby Callan, eight months.

The audio does not include the 911 call made by her husband Patrick Clancy, who found her lying outside their home after returning from collecting takeout food for the family. 

Clancy's lawyer, Kevin J Reddington, previously told a judge that the drugs Lindsay had been prescribed left her feeling feeling like a 'zombie'. 

Investigators are now probing the theory that she might have been suffering from post-partum psychosis.

'We've got a person who suffered grievously as a result of what possibly could be postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis,' he said. 

He also described the 'horrific' combination of prescription drugs Lindsay had been given.
