A Delta Airlines passenger accused a flight attending of telling his wife she had a 'stupid face' in a row after the couple tried to use a first-class overhead bin.
Thomas Todd posted a now viral video of his experience aboard a flight from Orlando to New York City last November, where an unidentified flight attendant warned him and his wife, Jen, to stop 'being rude.'
The video, which began after the couple reportedly tried to place their bags in the first-class bins because their own section was full, starts with the flight attendant frustrated with Todd.
‘Don’t do it,' she warns him. 'Because I will turn this plane around to get you off. Don’t do it. Don’t press my buttons.’
Todd claims the employee 'verbally assaulted' and 'threatened' him and his wife, allegedly telling Jen 'she had a stupid face,' before having them removed from the flight.
An update to the ordeal we had with Delta. On 11/07/22 an out of control flight attendant told Jen twice her face looked stupid then implied I was not smart enough to watch the safety video. We were threatened and informed she is from the Bronx. She had the plane turned around and we were told to get off. Every delta/airport/police/pilot who were involved said we did nothing wrong and could get back on the flight.The flight attendant played her last card “she did not feel safe” and refused to get back on the plane if we did. Fast version of what followed: I posted a video of the flight attendant and a very detailed description of what happened. Delta reaches out and we agreed to immediately remove everything, because “we have a partnership with Delta and they’re gonna take care of us” per Kenneth Jabonski from Delta. He really has no idea what our family was put through. Our two kids were also removed from the plane and watched as we were verbally assaulted and threatened. Mr Jabonski then said (while on a recorded line)he and his team sat down and compared our ordeal to a hair in a Caesar salad to understand how to compensate us.
