A group dedicated to getting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis elected president slammed Disney for engaging in 'woke propaganda' with its latest episode of a cartoon featuring black children rapping about reparations.

DeSantis has an ongoing public feud with the Walt Disney Co. centered around the company's woke agenda and its decades of special exemptions.

The Florida legislature on Monday introduced a new bill that would give DeSantis complete control over the board of the powerful Reedy Creek Improvement District and would hold Disney responsible for paying its debt to the state.

Ready for Ron, an independent Political Action Committee, is standing behind DeSantis in his war with Disney and is seeking to hold the child-focus company accountable for pushing 'radical leftism' on children.

The Executive Director wrote in a statement provided to DailyMail.com that Disney executives have gotten used to presenting politics to children without 'repercussions,' but vowed this would come to an end with DeSantis driving the State House in Florida for another term.

'Disney executives broke the deal and they will pay the price. Instead of giving Americans a safe place for children to enjoy content like Marvel and Star Wars, Disney caved to radical Leftism and pushed 'woke' propaganda,' Dan Backer, Legal Counsel at Ready for Ron, said in a statement on the latest Proud Family: Louder and Prouder episode.

'Disney better listen to Ron DeSantis and wise up, getting back to the deal that made the company successful in the first place. Until that happens, DeSantis has every right to expose Disney's woke politics and hold the company accountable,' he added.

Disney has received widespread backlash for going woke after the new cartoon series features an episode where black children rapped about reparations – saying 'slaves built this country'.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder has sparked outrage by showing the characters discovering that their town was built by slaves and then giving a presentation to their school.

As part of the rap presentation, which has been branded 'blatant anti-white propaganda', a white character is seen standing on a stage with a poster that says, 'still not atoned'.

It is echoing the current situation in California, with a reparations board insisting that every long-term black resident get $5 million in reparations.

'Disney executives thought they could go into political overdrive with no repercussions,' Executive Director of Ready for Ron wrote in a statement on the episode. 'But they were wrong, and Disney has been losing to Ron DeSantis ever since.'

'As long as Disney tries to play the 'woke' game, DeSantis should strip the company of any special privileges it once had and stand up for the tens of millions of Floridians who are sick and tired of woke politics,' he added. 'While corporate elites pander to the radical Left, DeSantis continues to be a conservative champion of the people.'

DeSantis has not announced if he plans to run for president in 2024, but Ready for Ron recently launched a $3.3. million campaign support his presidential bid.

During the episode of Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, the characters, who are predominantly black, conclude that Abraham Lincoln had no desire to end slavery – and so stage a petition to get his statue removed.

Disney claims that the show 'follows the adventures and misadventures of newly 14-year-old Penny Proud and her Proud Family as they navigate modern life with hilarity and heart.'

But it has sparked a major backlash with viewers, who have accused the broadcasting giant of 'beaming woke BLM propaganda straight into your living rooms'.

Others started using the hashtag #BoycottDisney after watching the footage, which also depicts police officers in riot gear turning up at their protest.

In the episode Penny learns the meaning of Juneteenth, and discovers a 'terrifying truth' about the town – that it was founded by a slave owner.

Part of the rap on the show, which is aimed at a younger audience, says: And we, the descendants of slaves in America, have earned reparations continue.

'And continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in the systemic prejudice, racism, and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for.'

Once the scene is over, the rest of the school erupts into applause, and then a protest over Abraham
